Alps series Honda GX engines are the result of a close collaboration between the R&D technicians of two leaders in their respective markets – BCS Group and Honda. Their engines are the ideal solutions for work on steep slopes.
The Alps series includes 3 Honda gasoline engines:
- GX270 (8.6 hp)
- GX340 (10.7 hp)
- GX390 (11.7 hp)
with technical features that make it possible for you to work smoothly with a 30-degree inclination angle on any axle, without this working position reducing performance due to supply- or lubrication-related issues.
The maximum inclination angle can even rise up to 35 degrees if use is restricted to short periods of time.
Alps engines have innovative and unique technical features such as:
- special one-way valve built into the cylinder head that improves oil flow, thus ensuring excellent engine lubrication even when used on a slope.
- fuel pump positioned so that it cannot be accidentally damaged, thus ensuring proper fuel flow.
- level indicator in the fuel tank hole indicating the maximum fuel level, thereby preventing excessive fuel from being injected and guaranteeing safe use of the engine in any condition.
