SmartSafe® clutch in oil bath

The new SmartSafe® clutch, exclusive to the BCS Group, is equipped with multiple steel discs operating in an oil bath which, unlike inverted conical clutches on the market, guarantees greater reliability and less maintenance.
Belleville washers between the discs also turn the clutch into a true automatic brake that, in an emergency, immediately stops the power take-off while keeping the engine running for a quick resumption of work.
This solution makes the machines fully compliant with the stringent safety regulations in force.

The mechanical actuation of the clutch, performed by two forks acting on pressure plate flanges, as well as the resulting simplicity of design result in greater economy of operation and lower maintenance costs.
An ideal advantage for the operator who uses the motor mower or the two-wheel tractor occasionally in the management of small gardens and vegetable gardens.
The SmartSafe® clutch has also made the machines lighter and easier to manoeuvre.
