Three-pronged power take-off

Exclusive patented system.

The entire range of BCS motor mowers and two-wheel tractors is equipped with the unique three-pronged engagement system to transfer power from the engine to the attachment.

Thanks to the special V-shape of the three equally spaced teeth on the circumference of the engine shaft, the BCS engagement facilitates machine/equipment coupling by dividing the mechanical resistance equally.

This system, which is extremely robust and performs even with the heaviest attachments, is covered by an international patent.

Features and benefits.

The power take-off, which acts as an engagement for the attachment, is mechanically connected to the engine to minimise energy dissipation.

The power take-off (at 990 rpm with engine at 3600 rpm) is independent of the gearbox and therefore allows the attachment to be switched on or off regardless of the machine’s progress.

The oil-bath engagement inside the transmission improves its operation and ensures greater efficiency and durability.

The two-wheel tractors are equipped with an automatic safety device that deactivates the PTO when the reverse gear is engaged.
