Stage V | Steering wheels isodiametric tractors
All Models
Hyper-specialised tractors with steering acting on the front wheels.
Steering tractors, with the four wheels of the same diameter, have their strengths:
- in the stability and adherence in any operating condition, even on slopes.
- in the versatility and multifunctionality.
Furthermore, the standard manoeuvring brakes reduce the turning radius for more agility between the rows of vineyards and orchards.
On the other hand, the MT versions, with extra-wide wheel track, are suitable for haymaking on steep slopes.
The advantages vs Specialised vineyard/orchard tractors.
- Small and with a shorter wheelbase, for the benefit of manoeuvrability.
- More versatile thanks to the versions with reversible driver’s seat.
- More suitable for the use of attachments such as cutters, leaf strippers and fork-lifts.
- Less soil compaction due to the lower weight and optimal weight distribution on the axles.
- Lower centre of gravity, thus more suitable to work on slopes.
- Lower driver’s seat to also work under greenhouses or in canopy plantations or pergola vineyards.
- Better view of the rear attachments.
- Wide choice of tyres and wheel track adjustment.
Stability on slopes.
Isodiametric tractors have a lower centre of gravity and a 60% weight distribution on the front axle and 40% on the rear one due to the placement of the cantilevered engine.
This implies a perfect general balance (50%-50%) with the implement mounted on the rear lift, and therefore excellent stability when working on slopes.
