Reversible two-wheel tractor with mechanical transmission and PowerSafe® hydraulic clutch.
740 PowerSafe® is a professional two-wheel tractor designed for intensive use.
Ideal for the creation of vegetable gardens, the maintenance of public and private gardens, snow removal, mowing and inter-row cleaning of vineyards, orchards or uncultivated large areas.
The differential increases manoeuvrability and, combined with the brakes, makes the two-wheel tractor agile even when moving on slopes.
Drum brakes as standard make it possible to independently brake one wheel at a time to improve steering.

The exclusive PowerSafe® clutch with hydraulically-operated multiple steel disc in oil bath, not only guarantees maximum reliability but also greater operational comfort, safety and high performance in any conditions of use.
Axle with differential.
The differential allows the two drive wheels of the two-wheel tractor to rotate at different speeds, especially when turning, offering several advantages:

Improved maneuverability: during steering, the inner wheel travels a shorter path than the outer one; the differential enables this difference in rotation, making the turn smooth.

Reduced effort: the operator does not have to forcefully correct the trajectory.

Greater operating comfort: especially on flat terrain or with good grip.
By locking the differential using a lever on the handlebar, the two wheels are instead forced to rotate at the same speed, providing the following benefits:

Maximum traction: useful on uneven, muddy, snowy or slippery ground.

No power loss: prevents one wheel from spinning while the other remains stationary.
Driving position.
- Handlebar mounted on silent block to reduce vibrations to the advantage of operating comfort.
- Height adjustable driving handlebars to adapt to the physical structure of the user, and adjustable sideways to manoeuvre the two-wheel tractor without stepping on the recently worked ground.
- 180° reversibility of the driving handlebars for use the two-wheel tractor with both rear and front attachments.
- Ergonomic controls and rationally positioned for quick familiarisation with the machine.
- Quick reverser to quickly change the direction of the machine at any speed.
Safety.
- Forward motion of the two-wheel tractor and activation of the PTO is only permitted with the red safety lever actuated.
- When working with rear implements, the PTO automatically disengages when reverse gear is engaged.
- Independent working brakes on the two wheels.
- Lever parking brake acting on both wheels.
When the operator releases the handlebar, the PowerSafe® hydraulic clutch ensures the immediate stop of both the PTO and wheel traction, without shutting off the engine.
Work can be resumed safely thanks to the dual-action system, which requires pulling the clutch lever before lowering the red safety lever.
