622 Motor mower

New

Motor mower with raised deck chassis and side transmission mechanism for mowing forage.

The 622 is a motor mower intended for farmers of small livestock farms and for intensive use.

Designed for mowing forage and cutting grass in general, it is now equipped with new diesel or gasoline engines.

Differential with lock and brakes with independent controls on both wheels allow to easily maneuver the motor mower on all types of ground.

Strong points.

  • Fully oil lubricated transmission for minimal maintenance.
  • Differential with lock to increase traction on low-grip terrain and ability to maintain a straight line when mowing.
  • Independent brakes for maximum maneuverability.
  • Patented oscillating assembly to reduce vibrations perceived by the operator and for maximum comfort of use.

Cutting unit.

Designed to work under tough conditions and for prolonged use, the cutter bar is available with cutting widths:

  • 127 cm with middle cut fingers (distance between tips of 50 mm).
  • 140 cm with low cut fingers (distance between tips of 38 mm – recommended for stony soils).
  • 140 cm with middle cut fingers (distance between tips of 50 mm).

The swath boards and wooden sticks, as standard, deflect the mowed grass under the deck of the motor mower so that it is not trampled by the passage of the wheels.

The bar is equipped with spring relief on the left side to adapt to the roughness of the ground.

Patented.

Patented in 1942, the ‘oscillating head’ and the ‘oscillating assembly’ are fundamental features on which the efficiency of the cutting unit of the 622 motor mower is based.

  • The ‘oscillating head’ is a mechanism that transforms the rotary motion of the shaft from the engine into alternating motion. Through the rigid drive shaft, the connecting rod transmits motion to the cutting blade.

  • The ‘oscillating assembly’ is a system that transforms the alternating movement of the rigid drive shaft into alternating rectilinear motion of the blade. This also allows the mowing blade to move independently of the machine.

Brakes.

The brakes are housed in sealed and lubricated for life case, placed in the reduction units at the ends of the deck.

The two lever controls, both on the right side of the handlebar, act independently on the two wheels allowing the operator to maneuver the 622 optimally.

Work sulky (optional)

In order to work comfortably seated, a special single-wheel sulky with padded seat is available (in option).

The steering wheel is connected to special pedals through which the operator can steer the machine.

With the work sulky it is also possible to lift the cutting unit from the ground by hooking it in the travel position.
