The nylon flail conditioner acts by fragmenting and then lacerating the wax lining that envelops the stem of the forage, also giving a low weight to the mower-conditioner.

Transmission.
The control support is made of spheroidal cast iron with low-noise gear transmission in an oil bath for high performance and durability.
Various safety devices protect the internal parts of the transmission and cutter bar:
- Clutch with torque limiter in case the rotation of the discs or flails is suddenly blocked.
- Anti-drag free wheel for gradual stopping of disc rotation when the PTO is disengaged.
- Discs mounted on flanges with controlled-break safety pins in the event of violent impact against stones or obstacles.
The cutting and conditioning appliances are also protected at the front and sides by a structure with shockproof shields made of high-strength plastic material and a metal plate at the top.
Set up.
The set-up to adjust the trim of Neva Avant to the working position can be carried out easily and intuitively directly from the driver ‘s seat of the tractor.
By means of a chromatic alignment indicator on the bodywork, it is possible to optimally adjust the position of the cutter bar with an evenly distributed weight of the machine on the ground.

The MultiFloat Frame® is a multi-movement chassis supported by patented parallelogram linkage, with torsion bar for transversal balancing of the cutter bar.
This ensures the Neva Avant maximum adaptability to any type of soil, while maintaining the ground weight of the bar unchanged by means of two stabilising springs.
Self-lightening of the cutter bar.
In addition to the easily adjustable springs, Neva Avant are equipped with a patented dynamic lightening system.
Dynamic Lightening uses the friction forces developed by the machine at work and transforms them into lightening forces, optimising the ground weight of the mower-conditioner at work. At any speed and on any soil.
Dust protection deflectors.
DustDeflector Wings is a patented system for protecting the tractor’s cooling system against dust and debris raised during forage mowing, which would clog the radiator grille.
Cutting unit.
- Cutter bar with gears in oil bath and disc-holding flanges with torque limiter to protect the internal parts against accidental impacts.
- Wear-resistant skids made of steel to protect the bar and discs.
- Baffles situated in the blade overlap zones.
- Discs with mud scraper flaps to keep the cutter bar constantly clean.
- Adjustable tier boards and conveyor cones, mounted on the first and last disc, to facilitate swathing of the cut grass.
- Reclining side protections to reduce the overall size of the machine when driving on the road.
Flail conditioner.
- Flail conditioner made of nylon, lightweight with high abrasion resistance.
- V-shaped flails: fragment and lacerate the wax lining that envelopes the stem, allowing it to dry quickly.
- Conditioning intensity can be adjusted by means of a movable guard and a double comb.
- Maximum conditioning customisation thanks to adjustable rotor speed of 630 or 970 rpm.
- Special elastic shock absorber for protection against accidental impacts.
- Rotor guard, optional and recommended for use on stony ground.
