Dual Floating System™

The Earth is not a perfectly flat surface!

For all attachments (such as front-mounted mowers and mower conditioners, lawn mowers or heavy-duty mowers) that need to adapt to undulations in the ground, the BCS Group has patented the Dual Floating System™.

The DFS™ is a system that optimises the load on the ground of the attachment applied to the tractor’s third point, favouring its “floating”.

This allows the attachment to follow hollows and bumps without damaging the surface, avoiding abrupt jolts to the advantage of operating comfort and working speed.

The features of the Dual Floating System™.

The DFS™ uses two cylinders connected to an independent hydraulic system equipped with a nitrogen accumulator which, together with those supplied with the rear lift, ensure the autonomous suspension of the implement with respect to the lift itself.

By means of a lever, the operator can increase or decrease the load pressure of the nitrogen accumulator depending on the weight of the attachment.

The reading on the pressure gauge allows you to set the desired value with extreme precision.

Concrete advantages of the Dual Floating System™.

DFS™ transfers some of the weight of the attachment to the tractor’s wheels, improving traction and stability.

By lightening the attachment applied to the rear lift of the tractor, thus optimising its load on the ground, reaps further advantages:

  • reduction of the tractor’s effort in pulling or pushing the implement thus saving fuel,
  • limitation of implement impact on the ground,
  • drastic reduction of soil pollution in forage cutting operations,
  • respect for the lawn.
